Thank you for reaching out to support the repatriation of our Tanna Paying it Forward project team home to Australia.
We are currently working with the High Commission in Vanuatu to coordinate logistics and are uncertain at this point as to any financial support that may be provided by the Australian Government. Donations would be gratefully accepted with any additional funds redirected to future Paying it Forward projects.
Our work here on Tanna is not complete. Any funds donated but not spent towards getting us home will go towards an upgrade of an Aid Post in Laus to Health Clinic. This will allow women to be able to safely birth in their local community, a necessity when roads are regularly impassable due to weather conditions and lack of maintenance.
